Wistful Thinking

mixed media, 24in. x 30in., 2020

A self-portrait set as a fantasy scene, Wistful Thinking depicts longing, dealing with the distant and the improbable. The underwater forest scene stands in for any number of seemingly impossible things someone could be longing for (inner peace, the past, or success to name a few).
